Mitsuhito Wada "Behind Blue Light Yokohama"

BankArt Studio NYK

Artists

Mitsuhito Wada
Water is one of the crucial elements in the films of Andrei Tarkovsky, who once said that a visual image is not a symbol but rather a metaphor: it does not entail a single meaning, but rather, like the surface of the river, an infinite number of representations pass over it.

Mitsuhito Wada arranges primary colors - blue, red, green and yellow - in the town of Yokohama. He inserts alternative colors and light into an urban environment saturated with neon signs.
