Ichiro Ishida, Sayo Ishida
Ichiro and Sayo Ishida bought a house in Hanegi, Tokyo, in 1944 towards the end of the 2nd world war. For 65 years since then Ichiro and Sayo continued to work on Japanese paintings and dolls respectively. Now 95 and 88 years old, they both continue to produce works that present a powerful imagination that leads the viewers to a different temporal-spatial world.
