Koji Fujii
Chochikukyo, one of the masterpieces of modern Japanese architecture, was designed by Koji Fujii as his own house. Known for having established environmental engineering as an academic subject while based in Kyoto University, housing was the unwavering focus for Fujii. His works that combine modernism with Japanese sukiya design continue to appeal to a contemporary audience while providing us with important clues in terms of environmentally sound architecture.
