This reception is being held to mark the publication of Akira Somekawa's first photo book, Akirasomecamera. Somekawa's work was shown at Calm and Punk in June 2007. The impressive individuality of his style and strong will as a photographer is reflected in this work. Along with Somekawa's new work, a variety of past work previously exhibited at the gallery in May 2007 will also be on display.
