Audrey Fondecave
Now Idea by Utrecht is pleased to announce "des ailes", an exhibition of new drawings by Audrey Fondecave, made specially for the picture book "grain-d'aile"(ECRIT).

"Grain-d'aile" is originally the only fairy tale written by French surrealist poet Paul Eluard, for which Fondecave made original drawings. Grain-d'aile, a girl who is as light as a fluff of dandelion, sits on the top of a tree and talks with birds, but she cannot fly herself. She believes that she will get wings when she grows older. Every morning she checks her back in the mirror, then whispers to herself, "not yet."

At Now Idea, the book will be sold in advance and there will be a workshop for kids and their parents. On April 8th (Wed) from 18:00, there will be a reception with the artist.

Workshop Date: April 19th (Sun) 13:00-14:30
