Laptop computers, DVD recorders, vacuum cleaners and microwave ovens. This exhibition will allow visitors to look at the insides of such home electronics to understand their mechanisms from a scientific point of view.
Seikatsu-Kobo holds "disassembling workshops" every year to allow participants to gain a deeper understanding into and love for products that support our daily family lives. This exhibition has been organized with the cooperation of corporations that have run those workshops as "professors" in order to allow children to find out about the relationship between those products and daily life, as well as the enjoyment of disassembling products to find out about their mechanisms.
