Keizo Kitajima
Keizo Kitajima made a sensational debut with the exhibition "BC Street Okinawa" in 1975. He received the prestigious Ihee Kimura prize in 1983 with his book "New York" and has actively sought new subjects travelling to New York, Prague, Butapest and Russia. His sensual monochrome street snapshots became synonymous with his work. In May 2009, he published a 800 page book for the first time in 16 years attracting increasing attention over his whole career. This exhibition will present nearly 200 works shot in the 70s and 80s.
