"Forests_living" points to living forests, living with forests and a "living room" for conversing about forests. Participants to this exhibition are all people who live with the forests. The spaces filled with the light and smell of the forest will help visitors to think deeply about the relationship between human beings and forests.

Information regarding ecology abounds today but there still remains a sense that "forests are disappearing somewhere far away". 67% of Japan is covered in forests but it is the 3rd largest importer of timber in the world revealing paradoxical smallness of the population of those who live closely to forests.

This exhibition will give visitors the chance to think about the forest, to discover the forest and people who live with it, and to accept it as a personal issue, finding a way to contribute.
