This exhibition by internationally-active photographer Yoko Takahashi features travel scenes and beds in old, rundown hotels that lie abandoned and forgotten in the ex-Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. On display are photos of these nostalgic spaces that Takahashi encountered on her travels - a rented room in a house in place of a hotel room in a town with no hotels to speak of, or else eccentric lodgings that blend into the routines of everyday life - landscapes seen from windows, and portraits of the locals. These memorable images trace incidental one-off encounters and episodes never to be experienced again.
