Ota Fine Arts is pleased to announce Seoul-based artist Yee Sookyung's first solo exhibition in Japan. Yee's artworks visualize the traditions, histories and territories that are hidden in our unconscious. Her subjects waver between her diachronic self-consciousness towards her country and her synchronic relevant consciousness.
In this exhibition, 42 ceramic sculptures and large cinnabar drawings will be exhibited.
Yee will also participate in the group exhibition "Double Fantasy - Korean Contemporary Art" at the Marugame Genichiro-Inokuma Museum of Contemporary Art in Kagawa from 12 July.
