Masahiro Tobita
Spoken Words Project is a project led by Masahiro Tobita, who goes beyond just fashion, creating costumes for various artists and musicians as well as paintings. Tobita is known for the beautiful cut and fabric of his garments, and a warmth that comes from the careful workshop dyeing process. He has also attracted attention for his artistic activities, such as his participation in the Aoba+Art Festival held in autumn 2008.
This exhibition features his Spoken Words autumn/winter collection 2009 "Magic." Orders for clothes will be taken on April 24th from 19:00-21:00, during which Tobita himself will give a special presentation.
Also on sale at the venue will be limited copies of the visual book "Spoken Words Project."
