Haruki Takahashi
White porcelain vines that grow in the room dynamically in all directions, exuding a strong and lively energy.

Haruki Takahashi attracted attention when he was still an art student by recieving the Kirin Contemporary Art Award. After completing his graduate studies he moved back to his native Kanazawa and began creating works that were completely different from the video works that he had been working on. He began to use ceramics to construct dynamic installations that have been presented at the Kanazawa 21st Century Museum as well as the Echigo Tsumari Art Triennale, enticing viewers with their powerful fragility.

This exhibition will see ceramic vines engulfing the white cube of the gallery.
