"Design YES NO" Exhibition

Tokyo Midtown Design Hub
Finished
An international hub for new standards in design, Tokyo Midtown Design Hub (consisting of the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization, Japan Graphic Designers Association (JAGDA) and Kyushu University School of Design Tokyo Site) is holding an exhibition entitled "Design YES NO" to celebrate its 2nd anniversary.

Since its opening in March 2007, Tokyo Midtown Design Hub has hosted various design exhibitions and seminars in an attempt to "make socially valuable proposals through the potential capability of design". In this exhibition, a total of 150 prominent creators from their respective fields express their "YES" and "NO" in the form of T-shirts and postcards with an aim to send out socially relevant messages.

Additionally, in order for larger audience to share the messages from these creators, each T-shirt will be released in a limited number at Design Garden, the sales and service organization of original T-shirts. Moreover, there will be a participatory project at the exhibition site where visitors can express their own "YES" and "NO" on postcards.
