This event has ended.

Sculptor Kayukawa moved to Fuengirola, a Mediterranean fishing village located at the southernmost point of Spain, right across from Africa. He then began to use Japanese paper and ink he brought for kids there to tackle two dimensional work, a new genre for the artist. Since then, Kayukawa has depicted imagined landscapes under the sun of midsummer Spain, with the work by abstract expressionist Antoni Tàpies in mind. Comprised around the "El Viento de Africa" series he presented at this venue last year, this exhibition introduces the evolution of his pictorial world.
