"Graphic Design in Japan 2009" Exhibition

Tokyo Midtown Design Hub
Finished
"Graphic Design in Japan" is a yearbook that was first published in 1981 by the Japan Graphic Designer Association, which consists of over 2600 professional members. Ever since, this heavily illustrated yearbook has introduced a selection of works chosen via a stringent screening process on an annual basis. Celebrating the publication of the 2009 edition at the end of this month, this exhibition showcases about 300 design works (both physically and via video screenings) that span all sorts of media: accessories, books, product packaging, logos, posters, advertisements, websites, videos and spatial design among others.

There will also be talk shows by graphic designers and art directors during the exhibition. Please visit the exhibition website for more details.
