Nilanjan Banerjee
Born in India, Nilanjan Banerjee held an exhibition called "Sun Water Wind Earth" at Kasumi Tsukuba Center, Ibaraki Prefecture, in 2000. His collaborative exhibitions held in 2007 in England and Calcutta, India also received a favorable reception.

Researcher of the Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore, Banerjee has devoted himself to cultural exchange between Japan and India. Receiving an endorsement from Tsukuba University professor Kazuo Azuma, who was awarded the People's Supremacy Award from Indian government, Banerjee learned Japanese at Reitaku University.

This is the first large-scale solo exhibition by Banerjee in Tokyo.
