Moyoko Anno Exhibition

Yayoi Museum
Finished

Artists

Moyoko Anno
On display at this exhibition are illustrations by Moyoko Anno created using stencils ("pochoir"). After much trial and error, Anno developed her own pochoir method, where she first cuts her own image out of a piece of paper
before coloring it with paint in a meticulous fashion.

Works on view include original illustrations and sketches produced for "Ochibisan", a serial story in the Asahi Newspaper (Sunday edition), and newly created pieces portraying retro-modern Japanese women.
