"ShinPA!!" Exhibition

The Sato Museum of Art
Finished
The "ShinPA" exhibition started in the Nagano Obuse Museum in 2006, presenting works by the students of Chinami Nakajima's painting and decorative art research laboratory in the design department at Tokyo University of the Arts. Since 2008, the Sato Museum of Art has served as a venue for their exhibitions in Tokyo.

For a long period of time, Nakajima devoted himself to educating his students as well as developing his career as a painter. Nakajima's support enabled his students to hold exhibitions at galleries and department stores in Tokyo. Some of them already have established artistic careers.

Like Nakajima, the Sato Museum of the Art has been an avid supporter of young talent. The museum provides scholarships for young painters. In fact, some of the students from this exhibition are recipients of this scholarship. The museum hopes to contribute to the education of these emerging talents.
