Santeri Tuori
Spiral is pleased to announce a solo exhibition by Finnish video artist Santeri Tuori. Tuori's work was exhibited at MOMA New York in 2008 and at Basel Art Unlimited in June this year, and continues to attract much attention.

Tuori has long been exploring the relationship between photography and video. Having studied artistic expression while still a law student, Tuori began his artistic career with photography but soon began to experiment with moving images created using still photographs. This exhibition will present several of his most poignant works including "Posing Time" (2003), which allowed the artist to discover the technique of superimposing still images with video, "Red Shirt" (2003), in which a child tries to wear a shirt, "Forest" (2009), which took over 3 years to prepare on a Finnish island, and his latest work produced during an artist residency in Tokyo.
