"Colors and Colors" Exhibition

Art Front Gallery
Finished

Artists

Kyotaro Hakamada, Tomoji Ogawa, Aki Yamamoto, Shihoko Kobayashi
Looking up at a tree where the sun is shining through, the eyes start to pick up different colors in the leaves. Our perception of color is very sensitive, and changes in relation to the amount and condition of light reflected upon what we are looking at. The color one is perceiving might appear different to someone else.

Form and color always played a significant role in visual art. However, today's artists address colors differently from artists of the past. This exhibition introduces how contemporary artists are tackling the concept of color, through works by Kyotaro Hakamada, Tomoji Ogawa, Aki Yamamoto, and Shihoko Kobayashi.
