Takeshi Hirashima
Hirashima first fixes cloth in a wooden frame to stretch it, masks it with wax, draws a picture by scratching its surface with a custom-made needle, and then dyes it. His dyeing method requires a painstaking series of processes, one for each color he employs, resulting in the creation of an artwork saturated with abundant colors and a sense of spontaneity.
