"The Human Condition 2009 - Respect: Icons of Ancestors" Exhibition

Taguchi Fine Art
Finished
Taguchi Fine Art is pleased to present the 2nd installment of "the Human Condition" series in which art that was born out of a fundamental human need is presented regardless of its origin in terms of time and place. This exhibition will present icons from diverse eras and geographical positions. Because most icons were unearthed, only a few of them have survived intact. Their imperfectness however is a testament of the effort of people through centuries or even millenia to pass on these sculptures as they received them, without trying to retouch them. This is a rare chance to view artifacts that can normally be seen only in museums.
