Ota Fine Arts is pleased to announce Masayasu Mitsuke's second solo exhibition at the gallery.

Since completing his training under the master Buzan Fukushima, Mitsuke has been seeking new possibilities of expression through "Akae" (red enamel). Red enamel gold-painted porcelain spread to Japan during the Ming Dynasty, and its original techniques have been developed in Japan over the centuries. The diversity of Mitsuke's designs and techniques are showcased in these new works. 4 of his newest plates are on display.
