Yosuke Takayama
Yosuke Takayama has consistently used wood as the material for his works but their appearance is radically different from what one would normally expect of an wooden sculpture. Its texture is reminiscent of ceramics or plastic being shaven, polished and painted to enclose the biological matter and evolve into a different one.
In contrast to last year's exhibition which consisted of an installation, this exhibition will put the focus on each work that has been placed on a pedestal for the viewers to enjoy the works closely.
