In the following year, he started creating illustrations for "The World Encyclopedia of Mammals." His works can be found in a wide range of publications, from children's illustration books and encyclopedias to displays in zoos and advertisements. He also received a number of prizes such as the Asahi Advertisement Grand Prize. He established his studio in Kichijoji in 1985, and until the day he passed away, he created many works there.
