Artists

Hans Fischer
Hans Fischer is an internationally-known Swiss picture book author who created illustrations for "Pitschi", "Bremen Town Musicians", "Puss in Boots" and more. Now, more than 50 years since their publication, these books are still very popular among not only children but also adults. Celebrating the 100th anniversary of his birth, this exhibition introduces a total of 220 color pencil drawings, prints and hand-drawn picture books he gave to his own child.

Along with the exhibition, there will be a variety of programs and workshops held for both children and adults. Moreover, the museum restaurant will serve special sweets that duplicate ones that picture book characters eat in their respective stories.

See exhibition website for details on related events.
