20th Anniversary of the Emperor's Reign: Japan Art Academy Collection Exhibition

This exhibition commemorates the 20th year of the reign of the current Heisei emperor, showcasing works from the collection that have won prizes from the Japan Art Academy in the past. 60 pieces have been selected for display from among over 300 nihonga paintings, yoga paintings, sculptures, crafts and calligraphy works - a distinguished selection that will allow audiences to gain insight into the history of the Academy, founded in 1919.
