Postalco have been making highly attractive products that elicit a sense of affection from their owners from the very first time they handle them. Their products are inspired by letters, transportation and the structure of bridges. Postalco bring with them a childlike curiosity to the things that interest them, and sometimes the gaze of a cultural anthropologist or historian, taking at times an extremely roundabout and digressive path towards creating pieces that convey the joy of making things. We may inhabit the same world, but Mike and Yuri always startle me with the sorts of discoveries they make. This exhibition was organized in an effort to get a better look at exactly what makes Postalco tick.
