Artists

Koseki Ono
Koseki Ono uses screen printing techniques to create neat rows of tiny inked dots in assorted colors, printed over and over again upwards of 100 times in order to produce layers of ink in stalagmite patterns. These dot formations change hue and form according to the position of the viewer, producing intriguing optical effects.

This exhibition features work inspired by tranquil lakes by the light of the moon. Ono, whose work constantly attempts to break new ground and challenge new possibilities of ink as a medium, will cover the whole surface of the gallery with a wave of riotous color.
