"Eating Time" Exhibition

Lifestyle Design Center
Finished
Time often makes food taste better. Tastiness is not only achieved through fresh ingredients and good cooking skills. This exhibition presents the life of preserved foods prepared in Taimagura, a location in northern Japan presented in the documentary "Taimagura Ba-chan (Taimagura Grandma)". It will not only introduce the processes by which foods such as miso are prepared - visitors will also be able to examine them with a microscope, smell the difference between types of miso prepared using various methods and fermented for different times, and learn recipes that make use of such foods.
