Masanobu Sugatsuke
Masanobu Sugatsuke has been involved with culture and fashion editorial projects for more than 25 years, producing numerous timely and epochal works since the 1990s. He has edited the magazines Composite, Invitation and Ecocolo, the bestselling book "No Marriage Syndrome", photo collections of Mark Borthwick, Itaru Hirama, Daido Moriyama and Kishin Shinoyama, art books on Elizabeth Peyton and Geoff Burton, record jackets for Nokko and Mondo Grosso, the "veggie boom" classic Cafe Eight Veggie Book series, the website for Ryuichi Sakamoto's Commons label, and the book "Tokyo Editors". This exhibition brings together all these projects under one roof, all of which are linked to the editorial work collection "Editorial Paradise" that is being sold in advance at the venue. The featured works are all available for view with an audio guide narrated by Mari Natsuki. In addition, original video works featuring model Yumiko Hara will be screened.
