"Off Site" is an open call project of the artist-in-residency program called "Artist-in-Museum Yokohama" at the Yokohama Art Museum. This second edition attracted a wide variety of proposals for projects that would relate to the city of Yokohama and its residents. This exhibition features Chihiro Aida and Atsushi Yamamoto, two artists selected from among 39 entries who will each exhibit the results of their two-month stint in a solo show format. How did these two artists, who typically work in different environments, react to their conditions and reflect them in their work? In addition to records and journals that map their experiences of the residency, talks and other events will also be held.
