Motonari Ono
The Fashion Resource Center at Bunka Fashion College presents designer Mononari Ono's 2008-2010 Autumn/ Winter Collection. In addition to Ono's clothes, shoes and accessories, his illustration works are also on display.

Ono studied fashion in Japan, England and Belgium, where he was challenged and overwhelmed by Europe's culture of deep-rooted fashion traditions. In response to this experience, he, as a Japanese designer, started devoting himself to making something absolutely unique to Japan. This is where his concept of "otaku x fashion" was born. Incorporating the frills and laces used in "Goth-Loli" and maid "cosplay" outfits, he creates well-tailored clothing that expresses his unique worldview.
