Yoko Hamada
Yoko Hamada has been influencing countless numbers of people through talk lives and workshops in which she translated the messages encoded into natural stones and other inanimate things for us to understand. The show will present her unique personal world as well as the process through which the messages are crystallized into the stones.
On display will be 23 photographs of natural stones that she uses as oracle cards, a grid of natural stones collected by the artist and personal notes. A collaboration with Masakazu Inayoshi is also planned.
This experimental project will attempt to show Yoko Hamada's world in progress as it changes by the second. It may be impossible to capture her world in its entirety but visitors will be able to feel the process of her work.
