Arigatou/TENKI
Arigatou is a group of designers made up of Butoh dancer Nobuyoshi Asai, photographer Kenta Arai and designer Maya Umeya. Their virgin project "Dream of the Tides" is a photographic documentation of Asai's body in opposition to a natural landscape taken by Arai.

This work wastes not a single gesture, or an extraneous piece of ornamentation - it reflects nature "as it ought to be". Through vibrations that stem from the beauty and transience of a singular presence, "Tides" takes an unflinching look at nature in order to learn from it, glean insight, protect it, and finally to come into a sort of symbiotic relationship with it.

Spatial design unit Tenki (stylist Shinichi Mita, designer Takayuki Suzuki and Shuko Tsuchiya) have also been invited to create an installation in the gallery using clothes and plants.
