Tadashi Ogura "21st Century City"

Paku Paku An
Finished

Artists

Tadashi Ogura
Ogura has been painting portraits of contemporary cities for over 10 years. Straddling two centuries, these cities are living organisms in constant flux - their dazzling colors and uniquely deformed shapes continue to evolve on Ogura's canvases.

While Ogura's works acknowledge the discrepancy between his childhood dreams of futuristic 21st century cities and the contemporary reality of our urban environments, they also possess an anonymous, universal urban energy that comes out of his positive, objective studies into his chosen motif.

Curated by Neutron's Keigo Ishibashi, this exhibition is a massive spectacle that includes Ogura's representative work including his newest paintings.
