"Lobby Exhibition - Haruhiko Yasuda: Recent Sculptures"

Hiratsuka Museum of Art
Finished

Artists

Haruhiko Yasuda
On view are new works by Shonan based leading contemporary sculptor Haruhiko Yasuda (1930-). Yasuda's style dramatically changed after his supportive wife and artist Silvia Minio-Paluello passed away in 2000. His logical and sharp works gave way to a more rustic and poetic style. On view are a series of white wooden sculptures created as a homage to Silvia, all of which can be viewed for free.
