Dusan Kallay et al.
Dusan Kallay (1948-) is a representative picture book author from Eastern Europe who has published in countries all over the world, including Japan where he has won over many fans. Together with his wife Kamila Stanclova, Kallay has spent the past 4 years working on illustrations for all of Andersenian fairy tales.

This exhibition features over 250 works, including original illustrations for Alice in Wonderland and an anthology of Andersenian fairy tales, oil paintings, prints and animation drawings.

Kallay is also a professor at the art academy in Slovakia's capital of Bratislava, where he has helped to nurture many aspiring artists. Also on display are around 50 original illustrations by artists who grew up with and were influenced by Kallay and the picture book culture of Bratislava.
