The undulations of the sand in this installation as well as the faint reflection of it in the mirror are uncertain presences. White handkerchiefs hang down from the tree branches painted onto the round surface, quietly asserting their presence.
The motifs in these works are perhaps the only ones that Masujo has a special affinity for. The sense of insecurity and hope that resides within these white cloths recall a variety of emotions.
