Masatoshi Sakaegi
Making free use of model molding techniques, ceramic designer Masatoshi Sakaegi (b. 1944) handles all the processes for his work, from sketching to completion, in order to connect user’s ideas to his own with unrestricted freedom, thus creating high-quality products. This exhibition focuses mainly on his everyday vessels to explore Sakaegi’s design thinking that extends to consider the acts of making and using.
