"Impressionist Prints" Exhibition
This event has ended.
At Museum of Modern Art, Saitama
Media: Prints
Today, the French Impressionists like Renoir, Pissarro and Manet are known for bringing innovative approaches to light and color into the world of painting in the latter half of the 19th century. Although mostly known as painters, these artists also made etchings and lithographs throughout their career. This exhibition features around 130 prints by French Impressionists and members of the Barbizon school, as well as illustrations that were created for books.
