"Mono-Kuro: The Work of Takehiko Higuchi" Exhibition

Hiratsuka Museum of Art
Finished

Artists

Takehiko Higuchi
Although Higuchi's works seem at first glance to be made of metal, they are in fact produced by infusing clay with ink and then scorching it with a burner, producing a beautiful jet-black surface that banishes all trace of light. This exhibition showcases 18 works including a number of new pieces.
