The northern Belgian city of Antwerp has long flourished as a commercial and financial center and meeting point of diverse cultures. The Antwerp Royal Museum is home to rich holdings in French, Flemish, Dutch and Italian art, classical antiquities and post-independence (1830-) Belgian art.

This exhibition showcases around 70 modern Belgian paintings by Magritte, Delvaux, Knopf, Ensor and more.
