Shinsuke Tsutsui Exhibition

Mizuma Art Gallery - Ichigaya
Finished

Artists

Shinsuke Tsutsui
In recent years, Shinsuke Tsutsui has been using more vivid colors in order to make his works more "painterly". His works make deft use of translucent beeswax and dead ants, bees and moths in order to create images that are fragmented to the point where the viewer can no longer make sense of them.

This exhibition features several canvas works and drawings that viewers are encouraged to view with the aid of a microscope used by Tsutsui himself.
