Chikashi Kasai appeared on the scene in the early 1990s just as the photography world was searching for its new next-generation hero. First discovered by Nan Goldin and encouraged by Nobuyoshi Araki, Kasai's "Tokyo Dance" set the tone for a body of work that depicted the raw emotional landscape and temperature of people and places.

This exhibition showcases various works connected with Kasai's new photo collection "Karte" (to be released June 11th), which features fashion model Rena Takeshita captured in situations and settings wholly different to her usual media appearances in magazines.
