This event has ended.

Famous Magazine was born on a cold day in March 2002 in an independent experimental office on the edge of the 10th arrondissement in Paris called Tsunami-Addiction. The initial idea behind the publication was to create a empty "anti-contributor" magazine totally lacking in any visual expression, with only the names of actual (or imaginary) people. The people featured in its pages were virtual nobodies at the time - an ironic dig at the magazine's name. It was roughly photocopied in black and white, and didn't even have a binding, but it was full of a manic punk energy and DIY spirit.

This exhibition looks back on how Famous has changed and evolved over the last 8 years. Valuable back numbers of the publication, which were for a long time extremely hard to lay hands on, will also be on sale.
