"Heroes of Tokiwa-so" Exhibition

Suginami Animation Museum
Finished
"Tokiwa-so", an ordinary apartment building located in Tokyo's Toshima ward, is well-known as a former residence of Osamu Tezuka, in addition to other young and aspiring manga writers. Although the building was demolished in 1982, it holds an important place in the history of manga culture. On display at this exhibition are works created by these artists, as well as an introduction to life in the apartment in those days.
