Kanjiro Kawai
Kanjiro Kawai was a leading Japanese ceramic artist and one of the founders of the Mingei movement. He was known as an expert on the use of ceramic glazes, winning accolades from both Japan and abroad for his refined artistry. This exhibition features 150 works by Kawai from the museum collection.
