Yoshihiro Kunikata "Black Pottery: Moon Trip"

LIXIL Gallery 1 & 2
Finished

Artists

Yoshihiro Kunikata
Yoshihiro Kunikata's graceful ceramic objects, which resemble many-legged creatures, have a quirky sense of humor about them. Hanging down from a round ceramic base that looks like a lotus leaf are 10-20 appendages that seem to be either plant roots or jellyfish tentacles. This exhibition showcases an entire room of these black ceramic creatures.
