Sohei Iwata
Sohei Iwata has been engaged in a collaborative project with the tribes of Santal and Collas in India. Coming from the Dalit caste - the "untouchables" - these groups have been much discriminated against, but they have preserved the beauty of a primitive way of life, providing precious insight into how human beings used to live.

While researching the traditions and customs of these people, Iwata designed and built a communal farming housing area and drinking water system. In this presentation he will introduce with images and video the way of life of these tribes, and discuss the events and occurrences during his time there.
